CandiaSoil, being fully aware of its responsibility for the health of consumers, offers five different kinds of extra virgin olive oil that are the best to be found on Crete in their categories. “oi1 Extra Virgin” and “oi1 organic” were the first to be launched. Soon after “oi1 PDO Viannos” , “oi1 PDO Sitia” and "PDO Peza" were made available in the market.

Their selection is the result of our long efforts to find producers who insist on traditional cultivation, showing respect towards the earth and olive trees, as well as the olive oil millers who faithfully observe the principles of proper oil pro-duction and who implement the “common pressing” practice, which ensures oil production within just 8 hours from harvesting, thus achieving very low acidity levels. All olive oil mills we work with have received relevant certification from competent international organisations.

Moreover, the products we offer have been carefully tested by the most experienced and demanding tasters, ensuring that they have the lowest acidity and the most refined flavour. We chose to place our olive oil in dark-hued glass bottles or dark paper packaging, in order to protect it from conditions that could lead to oxidation, such as exposure to sunlight. You will find markings indicating the certification of the quality we provide on all our product labels, along with advice about storing the product, to which we call your attention.
